Went to see Wes with lower back pain and after assessing me, besides the treatment, gave me a series of exercises to do along with advice on sleeping positions and back support while sitting. After 4 sessions the combination of the above has alleviated the problem to the extent that I do not require further treatment, but will continue with the exercises for maintenance. Would have no hesitation in recommending Wes to anyone reading this.

Wes was recommended to me by my Pilates instructor. My back had been hurting on and off for months. I had never been to an osteopath before and wasn’t sure what to expect. Wes immediately put me at ease and explained the process and treatment. He could see pretty quickly what the issues were and talked me through some exercises (which have since completely changed my posture and consequently improved the pain). He stretched and manipulated carefully so as not to hurt - I felt totally relaxed and could see straight away how knowledgeable and skilled his is. Would definitely book an appointment with Wes if you have any concerns. Brilliant results !

Visited Wes at Oak Health a couple of times recently to get an experts opinion on some back problems I was having. He was polite, professional and informative and I was very happy with the sessions I had leaving me with some exercises to do to help keep my back in better shape. Would highly recommend.

Wes is brilliant. I was in a lot of pain and could not understand why. Wes quickly identified the problem and has put me in shape with no pushy sales or package pricing. I highly recommend Oak Heath and Wes. Thank you!

I had been experiencing lower back pain and stiffness for several months before going to Wes and it was really affecting my day to day activities. Wes was great, he did a thorough initial assessment and carefully explained what he thought was going on. After a few sessions, which included some exercises and manipulations as well as programme of exercises to do between sessions, the pain had gone and full movement had restored. I would highly recommend.

I’m Wes Tubb, the founder of Oak Health Osteopathy in Cheadle Hulme.
Before qualifying as an osteopath, I worked for several years as a personal trainer, helping clients improve their fitness, movement, and overall health. That background gave me a deep appreciation for how the body works—and how pain or injury can hold people back from doing what they love.
I went on to train as an osteopath to better understand the clinical side of pain and recovery. Now, I combine hands-on osteopathic treatment with movement-based rehab and practical advice to get people out of pain and back to doing the things that matter—whether that’s lifting better, walking further, or hitting a smoother golf swing.
I’m also a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified practitioner, which means I specialise in treating golf-related injuries and helping players improve their performance through better movement.
My approach is simple: assess how your body moves, bring balance to the entire body, and give you the tools to stay feeling strong, mobile, and pain-free.
