Frequently asked questions

It’s completely free to join MediMo. There are no setup fees, no subscriptions and no hidden costs.

When a new patient books an appointment through MediMo, we take an ‘Introduction Fee’ of 40% of the appointment value and you receive your 60%, immediately. You have a new patient and are free to make your own follow-up bookings.

If an existing patient were to book through MediMo, we only take 2% to cover processing fees.

Firstly, we ask the patient during the booking process if they have visited your practice before.

We also run a quick check (using name and date of birth) to confirm if a patient is in your existing database.

For new patients, we take a 40% introduction fee on their first booking — this includes all payment processing fees. You receive 60% of the appointment value.

For existing patients, there’s just a 2% processing fee, and you keep the remaining 98%. No hidden extras.

No. To keep things simple and consistent for patients, we use a standard policy. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are fully refunded. No refunds are given for cancellations within 24 hours or for no-shows.

Patients pay upfront when they book. MediMo uses Stripe Connect to instantly split the fee, so you receive your share straight away — no invoicing or payment chasing.

You’ll get email notifications, and MediMo bookings will be clearly labelled in your calendar. You can also check your MediMo dashboard at any time to track your bookings.

Absolutely. You’re in control. Pause your listing any time and reactivate it whenever you’re ready. Or delete your profile permanently if needed, though this will remove your account history and data.

Not at all. MediMo integrates directly with Cliniko and Nookal (with more systems coming soon). You keep managing your schedule as normal and MediMo brings new patients to help fill it. No need to switch systems or retrain your staff.
