About MediMo

MediMo is the booking website for private physiotherapy, chiropractic and osteopathy — the clinic’s live diary, at the clinic’s own price.

Clinics run their diaries in systems like Cliniko, Nookal and PracticeHub. MediMo plugs into those systems, shows you the appointments that are genuinely free, and lets you book and pay in one go. The clinic’s own diary is updated the moment you do.

You pay what you would pay booking direct. Clinics pay us a commission when we bring them a new patient, so MediMo is free for patients.

How it works

Three steps, and no “request a callback” form anywhere.

  1. Search

    Type a postcode or a town and choose a treatment. Results are ordered by distance or by soonest appointment — never by who pays us most.

  2. Compare

    Every clinic shows its next free appointments, its prices, its practitioners and their professional registrations. Narrow the list by insurer, practitioner gender or language, parking and step-free access.

  3. Book

    Choose a time and pay securely. The booking is written into the clinic’s own diary and you get their confirmation. Cancel free up to 24 hours before.

What we check, so you don’t have to

Booking with a clinic you have never heard of should feel as safe as booking with the one your friend recommended. These are the rules every clinic on MediMo is held to.

Registered clinicians
Physiotherapists and podiatrists must be registered with the HCPC, chiropractors with the GCC, osteopaths with the GOsC. We check each practitioner’s registration before they appear, and show it on the clinic’s profile.
Real appointments
Availability is read from each clinic’s own diary every ten minutes. If we can’t read a diary, we say so rather than show you times that may not exist.
The clinic’s own price
No booking fee, no mark-up. Clinics set their prices and agree that booking through MediMo costs the same as booking direct.
No paid placement
Clinics can’t pay to appear higher. Results are ordered by distance or by the next available appointment, and you can switch between the two.
Reviews from real patients
Only people who booked through MediMo can leave a review. We ask a day or two after the first appointment, while it’s fresh, then hold every review for eight weeks before it’s published, so nobody has to think about what the clinic will make of it while they’re still being treated. We show each clinic’s Google rating and reviews too, so you’re not choosing blind while ours build up.
Your details stay yours
We share what the clinic needs to see you, and nothing else. Your details are never sold. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.

Why I started MediMo

I hurt my back playing five-a-side and was up in the middle of the night with the pain. I didn’t have health insurance, but I was happy to pay — all I wanted was to be seen first thing in the morning. Some clinic websites didn’t show availability at all, and it took me an hour just to work out who had the earliest appointment near me.

That is the problem MediMo fixes. The clinics were there and the appointments were there; nobody had connected their diaries to one place where you could see them side by side and book. Insurers, private hospitals and the big clinic groups each have their own portal, so it had to come from an independent — someone with no clinics of their own and no reason to favour one over another.

We went live in Manchester in June 2025 with 7 clinics. Today you can book 71, across Greater Manchester, Cheshire and beyond, and the plan is the same as it was on day one: every private clinic, one place to book, honest prices.

MediMo is independent and founder-run. If something on the site isn’t right, tell me and I will fix it.

MediMo is available to AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude, so you can ask your assistant to find a physio with a free appointment near you and it can search MediMo’s live availability. Clinics can also embed our NHS waiting-times widget on their own website.

How MediMo makes money

We would rather you heard it from us. Clinics pay nothing to be listed. When MediMo brings a clinic a patient it has never seen before, we take a commission from that first booking. That is our whole income, and it is why the site is built to send you to the clinic that suits you rather than the one that pays most — every clinic pays the same way.

Run a clinic?

Open up a new way for patients to discover your clinic. MediMo works with the diary system you already use, so a MediMo booking appears in your diary like any other. You pay per patient, not per click, and there is nothing to manage day to day — the easiest new marketing channel a clinic can switch on.

Straight answers

Is MediMo free to use?
Yes. There is no booking fee, subscription or membership. Clinics pay MediMo a commission when we bring them a new patient; you pay the clinic's own price.
Do I pay more by booking through MediMo?
Same price as booking direct — clinics set their own prices and MediMo adds no mark-up.
Are the appointment times real?
Yes. The times shown are read from each clinic's own diary system, every ten minutes, and your booking is written straight back into that diary. If we cannot read a clinic's diary we say so rather than guess.
Can I use my health insurance?
Many clinics on MediMo accept health insurance. Choose your insurer in the filters to see only those clinics, then book as an insured patient. Check with your insurer first if you need a referral or an authorisation number.
What if I need to cancel?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours and missed appointments are not refunded. The policy is the same at every clinic on MediMo.
Who is behind MediMo?
MediMo is an independent UK company founded in Manchester by Wesley Clarke-Sullivan. It has been live since June 2025 and today lists 71 clinics. It is not owned by an insurer, a hospital group or a clinic chain.
