Trying to be seen by a healthcare professional in the UK can be challenging (to put it kindly!).
Even if you are covered by health insurance or paying for a one-off procedure privately, it usually involves calling round multiple practices, filling in contact forms and waiting for replies. A surprising number of people just give up altogether.
We’re building MediMo to change this.
Why we exist
Our mission is to give patients a truly informed choice about their healthcare.
Ultimately, our goal is to bring trusted private healthcare providers together under one roof, so patients can compare and choose with confidence.
However, Rome wasn’t built in a day. We’re laying our foundations in Manchester with musculoskeletal treatment (physiotherapy, osteopathy and chiropractic). Although we will expand into other cities quickly.
As more and more people are getting stuck on NHS waiting lists and the waiting times grow longer and longer, many people are thinking “I’d go private if I could just get it sorted quickly.” For those who decide to explore that option, we’re here to make it an easier process.

A note from our founder
“I started MediMo because I was made aware that even insured patients were struggling to book appointments with specialists and get the treatment that they’d already paid for. It shouldn’t be that difficult to access private healthcare.
After looking more closely at the problem, I soon realised that the solution had to come from outside of the existing group of private hospitals, insurers and large practice groups. It needed to be an impartial, third party who could integrate with all the competing stakeholders and bring all the providers under one roof for patients, in an unbiased way.
I’ve always been drawn to businesses that exist to solve real problems and make a meaningful difference. I don’t have a clinical background, but I’ve spent my career helping mission-led companies grow.
I’m continuing that ethos with MediMo, to make healthcare more accessible. On the face of it, MediMo simply helps to book appointments easier and faster. But the core of what I hope to achieve with MediMo, is giving patients a comprehensive, transparent and informed choice.
