    Leira's sports massages are always just what I need for pain management and performance upkeep. I struggle with recurring shoulder pain, and I've been to Leira a few times now. She always leaves me feeling much better and with more mobility than when we started the session. You're in good hands with Leira!

    I've been seeing Leira for shoulder and neck pain, and she has been absolutely fantastic. From the very first session, she took the time to thoroughly assess my condition, asking detailed questions and carefully checking my movements before explaining her plan to help. During each appointment, she not only worked on my body but also explained what she was doing and why it would help, which really built my confidence in the process. Leira also sent me exercises tailored to fit into my busy day, which made it so much easier to stay on track between sessions. She's incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, professional and honestly, a bit of magic! I always leave feeling better about how to care for my body. Highly recommend!

    Had a fantastic massage session with Charlotte today at Finney Lane. She was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, taking time to understand exactly what I needed before starting the treatment. Charlotte's technique was spot on - she found all the tension points I didn't even realize I had! The pressure was perfect and she checked in throughout to make sure I was comfortable. The treatment room was clean and relaxing, and Charlotte made me feel completely at ease. I left feeling so much better - my shoulders and back feel amazing. Definitely booking again soon. Highly recommend Charlotte for anyone looking for quality massage therapy in the area!

    I attended Richard's clinic, because my knee was very painful after I fell off my bike. He examined my knee and explained the damage. Then he massaged tight muscles to loosen them and emailed a personalised rehabilitation plan to me, complete with video clips (far superior to the matchstick drawings some other practitioners used to provide, if you were lucky).

    Richard Higgs is a first class physiotherapist. I have been seeing Richard for over 5 years now and I can confidently say he is the best physiotherapist I have ever worked with. He is calm, knowledgable, professional and a real expert in his field. I can always rely on Richard when I am struggling with my back. I would highly recommend him.

    Richard Higgs, founder of Richard Higgs Physiotherapy, brings expert physiotherapy and sports massage services to Finney Lane Dental Care in Heald Green. As a fully registered physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Richard offers evidence-based treatment for a comprehensive range of conditions, injuries, and post-surgical care.

    I come from a background of health and fitness, starting working in a gym in late 2019. As I progressed through my health and fitness qualifications at the gym, I came to realise that these courses wouldn’t allow me to work with the people I truly wanted to work with; people with complex health conditions and mobility struggles, who needed someone with patience to help them get their function back.

    Across my degree I have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds and abilities in my personal training business. I am a regular in the gym and enjoy various styles of dance in my spare time, and I started Olympic weightlifting in January of 2025. Following completion of my degree and subsequent registration with the HCPC and CSP, I’m excited to start working with Richard in the Heald Green community.
