  Before going to active physio id been suffering for months with a trapped nerve. Richard found the problem and after a few weeks of treatment I am now back to feeling myself again. Can not fault him in anyway and will be forever grateful for what him and his team have done for me. Would recommend them to anyone

  Couldn't be happier with the treatment I received. I suffer with sever lower back pain and whilst still have some pain the improvement is genuinely life changing. Thanks to Richard and all the team at the Bolton office. They're warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

  I had a hip replacement in January 2025 and looked for support after my operation towards rehabilitation and recovery outside of what the NHS can offer. I found Richard at Bolton to be knowledgeable around my condition and provided support via a plan that met my changing needs and helped to speed my healing and recovery back to full mobility and strength. He provided regular exercises that could fit around my work and lifestyle and improved my confidence post-operation. I don’t think I’d be as active now as I am without this support and phased increase in stretching and strengthening that has brought me back to near 100%.

Established in 2005, Active Physiotherapy has been helping people from across the Bolton and Bury area recover from pain, sports injuries and surgical operations for many years. We make your goals our goals and pride ourselves in being the friendliest, most knowledgeable and highly regarded physiotherapy clinics in the area.
