At Bramhall Osteopathic Practice we help people of all ages move more comfortably, recover from pain and feel more confident in their bodies. We’ve been part of the local community for over 30 years, offering thoughtful, evidence based osteopathic care.
What makes us different is the time we take to understand your story. Every appointment includes a detailed assessment, clear explanation and hands on treatment tailored to how your body functions. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is one size fits all.
We regularly help people with lower back pain, neck and shoulder problems, joint stiffness, sports injuries, headaches and long standing movement issues. Many of our patients come to us after feeling unheard or unsure elsewhere. They stay because they feel genuinely supported and see real change.
Our osteopaths are fully regulated and committed to ongoing professional development, but more importantly, we’re committed to you. If you’d like help, you can book online or speak to a member of our team. We’re here to guide you toward steadier movement, steadier function and steadier health.

Was recommended Chris by a friend of mine. Had my first session today with a niggling back issue and already feel like I’m on the path to recovery. Would highly recommend.

After being in pain for so long, it was such a relief to feel a real difference after just one session! It’s amazing to finally know that the root cause is being sorted rather than just the symptoms. The whole team were so friendly and welcoming, and the coffee and cookie on arrival were a lovely touch that instantly put me at ease. Highly recommend!

I've been coming to the Practice for years! I really love the feel of the place with it's plants and homely vibe. The osteopath staff are wonderful; incredibly talented and knowledgeable, especially Jo and Chris. The reception staff are warm and friendly, always polite and helpful. I'd highly recommend it as I always feel the benefit after my treatment.

First time I have tried osteopathy for my slightly arthritic right shoulder (a condition that has significantly reduced my effectiveness on squash/tennis courts), and, initially, I was a little apprehensive about how beneficial it might be. I needn't have been. Jo was so thorough, knowledgeable and positive that I now feel confident my shoulder can be strengthened and improved. There are no overnight fixes, but at the end of our first session, the shoulder was already looking in better shape. I intend to continue treatment with Jo and would thoroughly recommend her.

My focus is always on understanding the root cause of pain, not just treating symptoms. Treatment with me is hands on, but also supported by clear, practical exercises so you can take control of your own recovery and feel confident in your body again.
I enjoy treating a wide variety of people and presentations. Whether it is a long term niggle that has been ignored or an acute new pain that has stopped you in your tracks, I am interested in understanding why your body has reacted the way it has and what we can do to support it back to balance.
I continue to build on my osteopathic training with ongoing education in areas including medical acupuncture, advanced spinal manipulation, shoulder complex treatment, kinesiology taping and TENS. This commitment to lifelong learning helps me offer care that is thoughtful, individual and effective.
My goal is simple. To help you move better, feel better and get back to the things you enjoy.
