I’ve been working with Dan at Elite Performance Physio for a recurring sciatica-related hamstring issue and an Achilles rupture. Dan and his team have been excellent, building great rapport, offering intelligent, tailored suggestions, and they clearly know their stuff. What also really sets this physio apart from other physios I've been too, is that he works from his own well-equipped space and gym in a great location, which makes the sessions way more effective and practical. Highly recommend

Dan is honestly a fantastic physio. I’ve been seeing him for a while now after injuring my shoulder, and I’m finally starting to see real progress. He’s also helped massively with reducing the headaches I was getting. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about getting you better. I couldn’t recommend him enough!

Dan Turnell is our go-to physiotherapist for dancers at the University of Salford — and for good reason. He truly understands the physical demands of dance and the unique pressures faced by dance professionals. After a recent injury, I was seen quickly, received a clear diagnosis, and was given a tailored rehab plan that considered the specific nature of my role as a dance lecturer. His pacing of recovery was excellent — in just over five weeks, I went from hobbling to fully teaching and dancing again. Dan is personable, clear, and efficient, and his expertise and care make him an invaluable part of our support network.

Dan has been fantastic to work with and has helped progress my rehabilitation post-foot surgery through to a gradual return to running. Dan was extremely diligent, offering me straightforward and effective guidance. I would highly recommend Dan to anyone looking for an experienced physiotherapist in the Manchester city centre area.

I have been going to Dan for physio for various injuries for quite some time now. His knowledge is excellent and he makes sure the exercises he gives you are achievable. I also personally really appreciate his understanding of my job as he has worked in the same industry so it makes explaining my day to day activities really easy. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I enjoy working with people from all physical backgrounds, helping them to return to either sporting activity or general day to day activity without pain. I utilise a mix of hands on techniques and exercise rehab designed around you as an individual. I have years of experience working with high level performing artists from ballet, to contemporary dance to musicians, alongside footballers, rowers and marathon runners. All of whom require specific attention to detail to help them return to their best physical self.
