Team

  • Karol Skoczen, Sports Therapist at PhysioSTAR

    Karol Skoczen

    Sports Therapist · SST registered · 19759

Karol is a Graduate Sports Therapist, helping patients recover from injury, rebuild strength, and return to activity with confidence.

His passion for rehabilitation began after experiencing a torn ACL as a teenage footballer. Going through surgery and structured rehab himself gave him first-hand insight into the physical and mental challenges of recovery, and the importance of expert guidance.

Karol holds a degree in Sports Therapy from Solent University and has experience working alongside osteopaths and physical therapists in the UK. He has supported athletes, gym-goers, and active individuals with post-surgery rehabilitation, sport-specific recovery, and strength rebuilding.

Karol combines clinical knowledge with lived athletic experience, taking an empathetic, results-driven approach to help patients move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities they enjoy.

Outside the clinic, he stays active through football, gym training, and a range of sports including Muay Thai and golf.

I have been going to PhysioSTAR with Karol for 9 months now due to a shoulder issue (still undiagnosed on NHS, likely some kind of impingement.) Initially it was so bad that I was not able to rotate my arm in most directions which severely limited my life, but with a few exercises I quickly regained most movement ability and have had full range of motion within about 6 to 8 weeks of visiting (roughly 3x visits) which I am grateful for. Returning strength and stability is a much longer term issue than I planned but nevertheless I appreciate the time, care and clear advice given to move in the right direction.
