I would highly recommend Charlie. I came to him with Achilles and shin pain, he done some assessments and worked out the areas I need to strengthen. The strength plan he gave me was easy to follow and required minimal equipment. The combination of treatments and exercises has allowed me to recover quickly and get me back out and running pain free.

Was recommended the local physio by a friend when I was constantly complaining about neck/shoulder/back pain and mobility. I play lots of basketball and go to the gym regularly to body build, the pains and discomfort I was facing were really restricting me in both of these hobbies but really, the biggest thing was I couldn’t go 10 minutes without it causing issues in my normal day to day and work life, sleeping was also a huge challenge! I have had 3 sessions with Charlie ow as well as staying on track with a stretching/exercise programme he has designed and bloody heck I feel so much better in life, day to day, basketball, gym, work, sleep! It’s honestly improved my quality of life substantially and I am so grateful for this! As well as clearly knowing what he’s talking about and doing, he’s actually a lovely chap too who clearly has your best interests at heart. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Have been seeing Charlie for about 5 weeks now, after a very traumatic injury Charlie is very professional, whilst being friendly and approachable and put my mind at rest over my injury many times. Will definitely continue seeing him and would most definitely recommend.

I came to Charlie after experiencing lower back pain for months. After a thorough evaluation, Charlie was able to get me back on the road to recovery with an exercise program, ongoing support and check-ins, as well as teaching me to understand the reasons behind my injury. I’m thrilled to say my injury has vanished and that could not have been possible without Charlie’s expert advice and guidance! I would highly recommended Charlie’s services and would happily be back in touch should I need any further help.

I would highly recommend Charlie - he quickly diagnosed the problem with my knee and hip and created a plan to get me back to running and to help prevent future injuries. He was very knowledgeable, took the time to listen and understand what I wanted to achieve and made a realistic plan with appropriate timescales. Fingers crossed that I remain injury-free, but if I do have any further problems then I wouldn't hesitate to contact Charlie again for support.
Charlie Jones
Book
The Local Physio was founded by Charlie in 2023. Initially he started working privately from various locations around Lincoln, alongside full time employment, before taking the plunge and setting up his own space – something he had dreamt of for many years.
Charlie qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2017 and has since spent a good proportion of his waking life helping people who are injured or in pain. He has worked predominantly in Musculoskeletal clinics, as well as on an Orthopaedic ward, within GP practices in Primary care, and more recently working within an MSK and Spinal Team as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner.
Charlie has a particular interest in helping people with back pain, knee injuries and with post operative rehabilitation.
Outside of work you might find Charlie spending time with his young family, walking his dog, going for a run or when he gets time – playing padel or football.
