  In this Initial Assessment, your Therapist will complete a detailed assessment, before providing you with a diagnosis and explaining exactly what the problem is. They will then start treatment, and give any advice, and education including any exercises that will benefit you. You'll leave the session with a full plan for how to relieve your pain.

  A follow up treatment session where your Therapist will reassess how you're progressing, and then continue treatment, and progress your exercises if required. If you have not had an initial assessment with one of our Therapists within the last 6 months, please book one in. This is a follow up session only.

  My very active and sport loving 14 year old son has had sessions with Aidan Hicks after a sports injury. Aidan has not just treated the injury but has educated him in a way to hopefully reduce the potential for future injuries. Aidan was very knowledgeable, understands what he is working with and could deliver the treatment and preventative exercises in a way that was appealing, interesting and relatable to a 14 year old boy who is about to study GCSE PE. He is now set up with training he can use in the gym or at home that develops his natural physique to help him in the sports he loves. We highly recommend Aidan if you have any sporting injuries.

  True physio have flexible opening hours and a great team of both physios and reception staff. If I need to get in urgently I can always get an appointment. They also have a great loyalty discount scheme which I really appreciate. What would I do without Helen? Thank you for perpetually sorting out my appointments, paperwork and taking my phone calls. And it doesn't matter which branch picks up the phone, Crewe, Nantwich or Skipton, they are always happy to book me in. I am so grateful to Mamta for looking after me with her treatments. She is calm, professional, knowledgeable and respectful. I am finding her exercises very beneficial between appointments.

  I’ve been attending sessions here since April with Aidan, mainly for lower back pain - an occupational hazard of being a teacher who constantly leans over and sits on tiny chairs! I have definitely felt the benefits of his treatments. He has been great at both relieving the immediate pain and giving me practical advice on how to manage it day-to-day. I’ve also been attending Jo-Anne's Pilates sessions, which have been brilliant. They are fun, highly enjoyable, and Jo-Anne teaches great exercises that are easy to replicate at home. If you are dealing with aches and pains, I can't recommend this team enough!

  I first visited John Bowen-Davies about five years ago for a damaged knee, and within just six sessions the pain had greatly reduced. I’m pleased to say that as of June 2026, I’ve had no further issues at all. More recently, I returned to True Physio in Nantwich with a severe back injury that usually takes months to settle and regain movement. This time, after just five weeks, I am completely pain-free and have almost full flexibility—something I didn’t think was possible so quickly. I was unsure about acupuncture at first, but after trying many other treatments to avoid surgery, I decided to give it a go. The results have been incredible. I highly recommend True Physio in Nantwich, and especially John. He’s not only a genuinely nice and professional person, but also an absolute expert in his field.

Our Crewe Physiotherapy clinic is based across from MMU University, just a short walk from the train station. We have 5 treatment rooms and a fully equipped rehabilitation gym. We also have biomechanical equipment here to carry out detailed biomechanical assessments. There is ample parking and disabled access.
