I previously studied Physiotherapy with a Master’s in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Bradford University. Following University, I entered the workplace with a variety of roles within elite sport, including working with teams such as Leeds Rhinos and Harrogate Town AFC.

My background in elite sport has meant that I am skilled in creating individualised, gym-based programs and managing upper and lower limb injuries. I appreciate the importance of both at-home exercises and gym programmes alongside a more hands on approach.

I have completed many postgraduate qualifications and courses since leaving university, including acupuncture, which I have found to be very beneficial for treating certain conditions. My approach to patient treatment is very hands-on, and I have a passion for ensuring my patients leave the clinic in a better place than when they walked in.

I started attending True Physio after being referred by work due to a bad back. When I was first attending I had 8/10 pain and now at the very worst I’m at a 4 but most of the time my backs now a 1. Sakshi has been amazing and patient. She’s helped me with exercises and deep tissue massages as well as stretches which have helped immensely! Thank you!
